Marwa is a style advocate and designer based in Los Angeles, with a Middle Eastern background. In 2009 she founded the company VELA at the age of 18, a fashion forward line of scarves. Through years of building VELA’s brand, reaching out to hundreds of thousands of women – and millennials in general – she have become the face of modest fashion and lifestyle. She has been featured across press as one of the most influential Muslim Hijabi public style figures. Her strong business design background allows her to creatively present brands in the best spotlight. Marwa’s angle is very different, as she chooses to focus on highlighting brands as a lifestyle and creating content with a natural artistic flow.
